“ Eighty Eights Coffee and Cocktails has been on my radar for months, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! Word to the wise: this place fills up fast, so arrive early. As a huge music fan, especially of jazz, I was thrilled to finally experience the live band - they were phenomenal! As an instrumentalist myself, I have a deep appreciation for live performances, and they truly delivered. Oh and the staff? Simply AMAZING! The service was top notch. I mean the staff know what they are doing and you can tell they experienced. My Lemon Drop was delicious and the Dirty Pickletini (a clever twist on a dirty martini) was a delightful surprise. I loved every sip! Eighty Eights Coffee and Cocktails is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great music, a cool atmosphere, and top-notch drinks. “ The female server was very pleasant. Unlike the male server who brought me a vodka club soda in a tall glass and told me it’s the same as the short glass. While it maybe same amount of vodka. The tall glass has more soda than I wanted. The female server fixed it ! ”

“ CALLING ALL JAZZ LOVERS!! Charlotte has welcomed this amazing new cocktail jazz lounge and let me tell you, it’s a whole vibe! Best of all....NO cover charge! the service was great, drinks tasty and music amazing! They open at 5 for the 21 crowd for cocktails, and live band starts at 8. They will eventually have coffee shop items during the day. I highly recommend getting there early to find a seat because the place is small and intimate. There is free parking but the lot and streets can fill up quick. I’m so glad Charlotte now has a chill lounge to relax in without being limited to a ticketed show that only last for abt an hr and half like other jazz venues. ”
